SpaceX will try to launch the Transporter-9 rideshare mission on Saturday, November 11 which has 113 payloads together with seven Canadian satellites from GHGSat, Kepler Communications, Wyvern, and the College of Toronto Aerospace Staff (UTAT) House Programs.

SpaceX says that 90 payloads can be deployed immediately from the Falcon 9 rocket together with one other 23 that may deployed individually from a number of orbital switch autos.

The Solar-synchronous orbit launch will happen from Vandenberg House Power Base in California, House Launch Complicated 4E (SLC-4E) with a 55-minute launch window at 10:49 a.m. PT (1:49 p.m. ET | 18:49 UTC). A backup window is November 12 on the identical time.

Three GHGSat satellites

GHGSat can have their high-resolution emissions monitoring sensor platforms on three 16U Spire World developed satellites. The satellites are designed by GHGSat as GHGSat-C9 referred to as Juba, GHGSat-C10 referred to as Vanguard, and GHGSat-C11 referred to as Elliot.

And in the case of naming satellites GHGSat takes it very critically. The satellites are named after kids of their workers. Names are submitted and voted on by workers.

Of notice, GHGSat-C10 (Vanguard), would be the first GHGSat satellite tv for pc to incorporate a CO2 monitoring sensor. The corporate characterizes the sensor because the “world’s first industrial CO2 monitoring payload.”

The three satellite tv for pc will deploy after launch as follows;

  • GHGSat-C9 (Juba) is scheduled to deploy at 54:01 minutes after launch
  • GHGSat-C11 (Elliot) is scheduled to deploy at 54:41 minutes after launch
  • GHGSat-C10 (Vanguard) is scheduled to deploy at 55:08 minutes after launch

Two Kepler Communications satellites

Kepler Communications has two satellites launching on this mission, ÆTHER-1 and ÆTHER-2 which would be the twenty second and twenty third satellites they launch. Kepler has but to launch publicly launch info on this launch, however we consider each of those payloads are the manufacturing model of their Aether-Ku communication satellites which can ship “300+ Mbps from low Earth orbit (LEO)” and are the primary in a deliberate constellation of as much as 50 satellites.

The 2 satellite tv for pc will deploy after launch as follows;

  • ÆTHER-2 is scheduled to deploy at 1:15:10 after launch
  • ÆTHER-1 is scheduled to deploy at 1:15:36 after launch

Wyvern and UTAT House Programs satellites

Wyvern can have its third hyperspectral Earth statement satellite tv for pc launched on this mission. Designated as EPICHyper-3 and constructed by AAS Clyde House, the satellite tv for pc joins EPICHyper-1 also called Dragonette-001, and EPICHyper-2 (Dragonette-002) on orbit. Each of these satellites launched earlier this yeat on Transporter-7 and Transporter-8 missions respectively.

In a press launch of the launch AAC Clyde House said that “the satellites are a part of AAC Clyde House’s EPIC VIEW household of spacecraft, that are optimized to host cutting-edge imagers, enabling them to ship multi-spectral and hyperspectral photographs of the Earth’s floor. The picture knowledge can be utilized by farmers world wide to optimise meals manufacturing yields and detect invasive crops, pests and modifications in soil make-up.”

The College of Toronto Aerospace Staff (UTAT) House Programs can have its HERON Mk. II beginner radio CubeSat on the rideshare mission.
