Persevering with his engagement to deepen worldwide collaboration and promote the peaceable use of house, NASA Administrator Invoice Nelson will journey to Lima on Wednesday.

Nelson will meet with Maj. Gen. Roberto Melgar Sheen, director of Peru’s Nationwide Fee for Aerospace Analysis and Improvement (CONIDA) Thursday, Nov. 14, and signal a non-binding memorandum of understanding to boost house cooperation. The memorandum of understanding between NASA and CONIDA will embody security coaching, a joint feasibility examine for a possible sounding rockets marketing campaign, and technical help for CONIDA on sounding rocket launches. 

Nelson will focus on the significance of worldwide partnerships and collaboration in house and rejoice Peru’s signing of the Artemis Accords earlier this 12 months.
